Proposed Final Exam Questions

In the comments, please give your suggestions and opinions on the following proposed exam questions:

1. How did European colonialism change Africa and African societies? (see especially 10/27  blog post)

2. Since independence, what have been the greatest challenges for African countries? (see especially 11/3 blog post)

3. What is the greatest crisis of contemporary Africa? Describe the causes and implications of the crisis of your choice (e.g., AIDS, Islamic fundamentalism, debt, populations growth).

4. Map test. (nuff said)

Final Exam Questions

Please make suggestions for final exam questions in the comments. Questions should be broad and general, covering big themes of the semester. 

For example, Ellio suggested, "A question regarding population growth and its main factors. Also include something about the oil crisis and how it all led to an economic crisis."
